Say, we're really enjoying the Calliope House CD. Rachel had a hard time parting with it to go on her mission trip. And we all enjoyed your playing at the recital last week! I was afraid Kerry was going to jiggle the video he was running, he was tapping and clapping so enthusiastically! We can't wait to hear more. I'm telling my worship pastor all about you. Would you be interested in coming down to Wildwood Community Church in Norman to play for morning worship some time?

Wayne,I first began a love of traditional/Americana/bluegrass/bluegrass gospel/folk, or whatever particular category PLSB might be placed in, some 6 or 7 years ago at Six Flags due to the wonderful music of Prairie Land String Band and I thank you ever so much for starting me on this wonderful musical journey! And, as I haven't had the privilege and joy of hearing PLSB at Six Flags for about the last 3 or 4 years, I just wondered if there would be a chance I'd ever get to see you guys there in the near future - I sure miss you every September at the Heritage Days theme of the park.

I try to play a little banjo and wish you the very best. Nice job on the web site, too, I might add.

Bless you, Joe Sewelljsewell@omega-studios.com

Very nice site. Love what you have done. Glad you found Christ also, that is very important. The cowboys of old may not had much but it appeared they had a faith in the good Lord, a good horse, rope, saddle and rifle and they were ready for much.

Thanks for your interest shown to fiddling. I founded sponsored The World Series of Fiddling. I had to front it myself or MC it as they say for 17 years. I held 24 festivals is Oklahoma through the years and never made a dime on them. When they sold Powderhorn park I quit. They have the fiddlers memorial up there which I ended up being held responsible for. There are over 2000 deceased fiddleres in it from all over the world But that filled the building and I have a lot of fiddlers names here at the shop with nowhere to hang them. Such fiddlers as Curly Fos, Ace Sewell and even Chubby Wise. So I am throughly familiar as to how much help you can get where fiddlers are concerned. slowey@webzone.net
